›How do I make a 35×45 mm passport photo?
Choose your photo, select the “Passport / ID 35×45 mm” preset, and click Resize. The photo is cropped from the center to the right shape at 300 dpi (413×531 pixels), ready to upload or print. Take the photo against a plain light background with your face centered.
›What size is a 2×2 inch photo in pixels?
At 300 dpi, a 2×2 inch (51×51 mm) US passport photo is 600×600 pixels. Choose the “US passport / visa 2×2 in” preset.
›How do I resize without stretching the image?
Keep “Keep aspect ratio” ticked. When you change the width, the height is calculated automatically (and the other way round).
›The form says the photo must be under 50 KB. Can this tool do it?
Yes. Enter 50 in “Max file size” and the tool compresses the resized photo until it fits.
›Are photo requirements the same everywhere?
No. Always check the latest rules of the passport office, embassy or website you're applying to, especially background colour and face size.
